The Challenge

Crossmuller was tasked with ensuring the facility was on the forefront of sustainable technology enabling the client to enjoy cost savings in energy generation.

The facility needed to offer residents and staff a safe, yet modern and livable environment incorporating functionality throughout that was easy to use.

The Solution

The Crossmuller team assessed the requirements of this modern facility and were able to deliver sustainable energy solutions including a 65-125 KMP Solar System with over 300 panels. The implementation of the system enables the facility to benefit from significant costs savings by generating the majority of it's own power supply.

A 660 KVA generator was also installed to provide vital emergency electrical generation should there be a system failure such as in the event of a catastrophic storm.

Dry fire protection suppression with smoke indication and an automated firefighting system offer peace of mind to staff and local authorities.

A DALI and C-Bus integrated automated lighting system for mood and timed lighting ensures residents are safe when navigating the facilities and offer further energy efficiency. This also included over 2,000 lights both inside and outside, Australian Standard emergency lighting, L.E.D strip lighting, heat lighting, and feature lights.

Integrated audio systems were installed throughout, included FOXTEL, free-to-air, antenna and satellite dishes.
