The Project

Crossmuller's Electrical division implemented electrical work across three brand new buildings, including 10 new switchboards, internal and external lighting, emergency lighting, ceiling fans, power, security, and comms infrastructure.

The Crossmuller Manufacturing division fabricated structural steel for the sports field grandstand and Junior School renovation. Crossmuller's extensive experience processing and fabricating structural steel created a structurally sound facility.

The Solution

Crossmuller could meet short turnaround times due to the experienced in-house structural drafting team. The drafting office utilises Tekla software, which allows direct export to our beamline processing equipment. Keeping all of these processes under one roof generates significant time-saving benefits for customer projects and keeps programme milestone dates on target.

To keep the project installation on schedule, Crossmuller has the advantage of utilising an internal fleet of trucks, access equipment and cranes. The customer also gained significant benefit for our crane remaining on site, which supported their rubbish and heavy lift required for the project duration. The crane also supported material movements on site during wet weather when the ground was too soft for conventional material handling. This again was of great benefit to keep the project programme on track.
